Ryan Bakos – Bakos Brothers

Ryan Bakos was born and raised in White River, near Nelspruit and came to Johannesburg when he was 10 years old. He has worked for Bakos Properties since graduating from school, in both the properties sector and the furniture division – for six and four years respectively.  He recalls; ‘Nevertheless, I always spent time in the showrooms with my uncles; I’ve been involved in the furniture division for the last 10 years.

Gary Alon Rogoff – Duropressings

On finishing his education Gary Rogoff opted to pursue a career in the arts. Emanating from a family entrenched in business, Fine Art was ruled out as offering ‘a bleak financial future’.  But the younger Rogoff managed to convince his father to support his studies in interior design, which could promise a clean, creative and challenging future. Gary Rogoff recalls: ‘As a young idealist I fancied the idea of being an interior designer, in pursuit of the ideal aesthetic.
