Thank You!

Habitat was delighted to receive a letter from last issue's July/August featured artist – Rudie van Rensburg.
Dear Colin
Please allow me this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart for featuring my art in your magazine. I am absolutely blown away by the reaction I got from all over the country. Since the 7th of this month I have sold five paintings and recieved three commissions – all due to Habitat. I have also been contacted by re-sellers of paintings. And I believe this is only the beginning!
Your e-mail three months ago inviting me to be your featured artist, gave me new inspiration after three very lean years in my art career. I have made more paintings since your e-mail, than my total paintings for the period 2007-2009! Just the fact that a magazine of Habitat's calibre thought that my art was good enough to be featured, gave me all the self-belief and inspiration I needed so badly at this stage of my career.
Once again, thank you very, very much for the opportunity! I will always have fond memories of Habitat.
Kind regards
Rudie van Rensburg

I had been waiting to drive an R8 since the original launch, but to no avail. Yet the more recently launched V10 was obviously the ultimate and it finally arrived in R-tronic configuration. It’s a supercar in every respect and truly rates very high, being among the best cars I’ve ever driven.
