See the world through concrete sunglasses! The country’s most supportive art and design prize, the PPC Imaginarium Awards, is exhibiting the work of its 55 finalists, including that of its Overall Winner, Category Winners and Runners-up, at The Association for Visual Arts (AVA) Gallery in Cape Town from 28 October to 11 November 2017. The exhibition will also participate in First Thursdays Cape Town on 2 November 2017.

In 2014, PPC extended its existing sculpture, fine art and industrial design competition (The Young Concrete Sculptor Awards) to include the creative disciplines of jewellery design, fashion design, architecture and film to form the PPC Imaginarium Awards. This ambitious art and design competition aims to provide emerging artists and designers with the opportunity to showcase their talents through the medium of concrete.

The competition, which is currently inviting entries for its 2018 round, serves as a platform for highlighting exceptional creative talent and assisting emerging artists and designers in launching their careers. Entrants stand the chance to win cash prizes to the value of R500 000, mentorships with influential leaders in the art and design industry, public exposure and more.
