The Portuguese interior designer, Mafalda Soares wanted to create a collection that embodies her unique journey through design, her feminine essence, taste and experiences. Memoir was born and each piece tells her intimate story.

The pieces’ detailed lines represent the elegance and glamor that make Memoir unique in every way. She launched and exhibited 4 pieces of this collection at Maison et Objet Paris in 2016  and created quite the buzz. The Secret Cabinet, Lust Chaise-longue, Vanity Mirror and the Ostentation Folding Screen stole the show.

The Secret Cabinet

The Secret Cabinet is both sophisticated and timeless. Each cabinet is handcrafter with white marble and a gold sheet.  The gilded brass base promotes its strength, elegance and stability.

Lust chaise-longue

Lust is an opulent chaise-longue that stands out for its hand-whicker. The upholstered white velvet over a polished gold brass base is the epitome of luxury.

Ostentation Folding Screen

In gold leaf and marble Ostentation Folding Screen is a representation of luxury and refinement. Their pieces gently join together, as if suspended, to promote the lightness of this piece.

Vanity Mirror

The Vanity Mirror evokes the divine and the sublime through the reflection of the beauty while it is been contemplated. This metamorphic collection consists of 5 different leaf-shaped mirrors, reflecting beauty into endless spaces and atmospheres.
