Now 37 years old in 2010, Habitat remains a trendsetting lifestyle magazine published six times per annum.
Based in northern Johannesburg, South Africa, DTP is handled in-house, production systems are high-tech; reproduction is via CTP (computer to plate).
In 2005, 2006 and 2007 Habitat won the prestigious Admag Award for 'Best Decor / Best Home Magazine' - the fifth time this has been achieved. Our young and talented production team institute ongoing changes to design and layout, the most recent of which were revealed in issue No. 210. The result is cleaner more cutting-edge design, content and typography. Further, the international content has been increased, our rationale being that what constitutes contemporary design globally is a worthy catalyst for the local market.
