Giorgetti strengthens its collaboration with Monte Carlo Yachts by participating at the indoor boat show in Düsseldorf, from 20 to 28 January 2018. For Boot Düsseldorf, in fact, the leading brand in contemporary design has furnished over 200 square metres inside the generous lounge of Monte Carlo Yachts, creating a perfect blend between the luxury yachting lifestyle and the design vision of Giorgetti.

Inside the exhibition space dedicated to large-sized yachts, Monte Carlo Yachts (Hall 6 D27) presents the new MCY 96, the 30 metre yacht that won the Most Achieved Yacht Trophy at the last show in Cannes and, at the start of this year, was awarded the title of Best International Motor Yacht in the 24-30 m category at the Christofle Yacht Style Awards 2018 during the Phuket Rendezvous in Thailand. In a scene embellished by Giorgetti’s style of interior design: the items of furniture, the decorative accessories and textiles, chosen from the collections of the company that was founded in Meda in 1898, demonstrate, even in the nautical sector, the uniqueness of Made in Italy craftsmanship and the application of innovative design solutions.

“The multi-award winning yachts from the Monfalcone shipyard represent a concentration of artisanal skills and cutting-edge manufacturing technology, which enables them to build extremely high-performance boats, where the quality of the interior is considered in every detail without compromises to the uniqueness of the design that Nuvolari and Lenard produced for the fortunate clients of Monte Carlo Yachts. And it is precise because we share their vision that a collaboration between Giorgetti and Monte Carlo Yachts has been established, a partnership we expect to continue for a long time and which will feature increasingly complex designs,” said Giovanni del Vecchio, CEO of Giorgetti.

“As a long-standing admirer of the Giorgetti brand, which more than any other expresses the excellence of Italian craftsmanship in the art of interior design, I am particularly pleased about our new collaboration with this prestigious brand. Our partnership developed naturally from our first meeting. And it couldn’t have been any other way because there was immediately a profound harmony between the two brands: the same strong founding values, priority towards the highest quality in terms of the materials chosen and manufacturing, original design, never standardised and destined to become a classic. The new MCY stand, which we are presenting at Boot Düsseldorf, was created with the passion of our two companies and represents just the first chapter of a long and beautiful story the two companies will write together.” said Carla Demaria, President of Monte Carlo Yachts.

In a balanced mix of experimentation with materials and attention to detail and style, Giorgetti’s interior design and outdoor collections are revealed. The convivial spaces of the Monte Carlo Yachts stand to invite visitors to experience the casual style of the Apsara and Gea modular systems for outdoor areas, while also presenting the warmth and elegance typical of Giorgetti’s indoor collections.

Among the iconic and new designs, there are of course the Hug and Swing armchairs, in which the visible frames become a design feature. Fine woods offer a light sculptural malleability with great character. The natural patterns of the wooden surfaces define the small Round tables; the gentle veins of marble characterise the Blend, Galet and Gordon table collections. Lastly, there is Tilt, the armchair whose lines have a nautical look.

For Giorgetti, Boot Düsseldorf represents a unique opportunity to introduce the nautical sector to some of the new designs launched in Cologne, including the Adam sofa designed by Carlo Colombo. A strong and simple graphic line is reminiscent of 1950s style and creates a seating range in which the leather and fabric covers rest like leaves on the tubular components of the system, softening its appearance.

Thanks to a multitude of exclusive collections capable of designing rooms around the products, Giorgetti can create unique, personalised spaces. This approach to interior design is perfectly suited to the requirements of the nautical sector, where bespoke interior design combines style and practicality, organisation of spaces and comfort.
