Audi describe Q2 as: ‘a compact SUV, an urban vehicle perfect for everyday driving and recreation; blending youthful styling and technology with a high level of functionality. A sporty yet compact SUV with allroad genes and coupé design – an all-rounder determined not to fit the boxes.’

Q2’s design is indeed emotive. Muscular and chiselled, it displays a generous use of vertices and concave surfaces, wedges and linear profiles. This distinctive geometric design language is independent within the Q family, being both sharp and edgy. A definitive frontal image is created by the octagonal grille positioned high and complemented by large air inlets, while the low roof line descends and merges into the C-pillars with colour-offset blades that accentuate the sportiness of the Q2; à la R8. The rear end adds more appeal with a long roof edge spoiler and an extended rear diffuser.

The side profile reveals a high window line and concave flanks emphasising the wheel housings and thereby the quattro character of this compact SUV. Overhangs are short with a vehicle length of 4.19 metres and a wheelbase of 2.60 metres. Twelve exterior colours are available with two of them: Coral Orange and Manhattan Grey, exclusive to the Q2. The C-pillars blades are an iconic concept and are finished in gloss black or contrasting silver.

And there’s more. Colours like yellow, orange and red may be selected for inlays, sections of the seats and contrasting stitching. Inlays are also available in brushed aluminium, while seat upholstery choices range from high-end fabrics to fine Nappa leather.

The Q2 is even further differentiated through the Audi exclusive programme, or by fitting the S line sport package. Add-on parts of carbon, the off-road style package and film designs are available for various areas of the body. Halogen headlights are standard on all Audi Q2 models with LED headlights and dynamic turn signals available as an option.
