KARE – Down to Brass Tacks!

The trend that keeps on trending… unlike it’s more amber-toned cousin, brass continues to outshine other metal tones on the metallic continuum.

Whether the hero or used as an accent, warm brass tones show no sign of waning in our interiors, as they continue to add glamour, light, reflection and warmth to our spaces.

This year, at both the IMM Cologne Fair and Salone del Mobile in Milan, KARE was thrilled to add more exciting new products to their collections that encapsulate this charismatic trend. KARE loves how complimentary brass is with an array of colours, whether pastel and chalky – think powdery pink – or deeper jewel tones – the quintessential emerald green for example – making brass the go-to metallic.

Brass is particularly happiest when paired with velvet fabric but equally at home when mixed with timber or natural stone, evoking a real sense of sophistication and glamour. We’ve compiled some of our favourite new pieces that either embrace this trend full-on or more subtly by adding sophisticated touches.
