Always thriving on creativity, Roche Bobois has invited talented designers to create exclusive collections that can sometimes be surprising, yet are a statement to fashion. Following their collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier, Sonia Rykiel Maison and Missoni Home, Roche Bobois gave carte blanche to Maison Christian Lacroix to create a capsule collection of 20 furniture pieces; a nod to fashion and the French Art de Vivre.

Designed for their Nouveaux Classiques collection, these furniture pieces and decorative objects were designed by Sacha Walckhoff, creative director of Maison Christian Lacroix. The Lacroix collection includes a dining table and chairs, small furniture pieces, lighting and rugs. The materials comprise precious wood, shiny brass and digital printing on lacquered wood. An engraving of Arles in the 19th century, a town close to the heart of Maison Lacroix, adorns the cabinets and sideboards of the collection. A double-sided screen features the same town of Arles on one side and a collage of a fantastical, lush garden on the other, mixing prints and photographs of the past and present. Armchairs and ottomans are upholstered in storm blue velvet and imprinted with a traditional pattern from the region of Provence. The dining room chairs, dressed in ivory and jet black stripes, evoke the silhouette of mannequins from haute couture workshops.
