Here, A-cero – another of Habitat’s favourite European contributors – presents a new single-family house located in southern Spain. A recent work designed this time in more orthogonal (right-angled) shapes, but following the established criteria of this architectural studio.

The owners required a solid, forceful and modern design for their home so they tasked the project to the studio managed by architects Joaquín Torres and Rafael Llamazares. The result is a home characterised by its façade in travertine marble and black glass – these being established A-cero signatures. Their brief was for a high-echelon, but cost-effective villa with fine finishes that had to include durable materials.
