The graphic style typical of art deco architecture is reworked in simple design in order to recapture its dynamic impact and bring the Charlotte range of cabinets, designed by Carlo Colombo, to life. It’s available as a tall cabinet, measuring either 160cm or 69cm in height, and features a system of doors in elegant grooved wood with a bold decorative motif. It’s the result of an architecturally-inspired design which drew inspiration from the cultural, constructive maelstrom that stimulated the development of New York skyscrapers in the 1930s.

With the structure in walnut canaletto wood, each piece in this collection features sophisticated details. The metal feet are decorative as well as structural. Choose between surfaces in wood, gold Calacatta, Portoro or Zebrino marble which offer a new interpretation of the design. Numerous options for customising the interior, including drawers, shelves, mirrors, lighting and bar assembly, offer the potential to optimise the piece’s almost infinite functionality.

Carlo Colombo is considered one of the most important Italian architects and designers. He began his career by designing for top level brands. From this moment on he collected hundreds of collaborations with the most important brands of design made in Italy, such as: Antonio Lupi, Arflex, Artemide, Cappellini, De Padova, Flou, Flexform, iGuzzini, Moroso, Poliform, Poltrona Frau, Teuco, Varenna and Zanotta; just to mention some. Beyond the design of products and furniture, Colombo also takes care of strategy and marketing for the companies, develops graphic projects, curates exhibitions and works as a consultant and Art Director.
