This year, WOMAG celebrates 25 years as South Africa’s preferred supplier of premium quality natural stone tiles and surfaces, quartz-based tops, porcelain tiles, design-led sanitary ware and taps.

“If you look over the last 25 years, many things have changed,” says WOMAG managing director Oren Sachs. “But at WOMAG the passion to deliver top quality products remains our goal. We want to make your house a home.”

WOMAG’s story began a quarter of a century ago when Sachs’s became frustrated with the limited choice of marble and granite in his native Cape Town, and the exorbitantly high prices for what little was available. “What do you do when the product you want isn’t available?” he asks. “You start your own company!”

Sachs began scouring the world, travelling to remote quarries to source the finest natural stone products to bring back home. From the beginning, WOMAG’s central aim was to supply a wide variety of quality materials at great prices, and to make sure that it had stock on hand so that customers could get what they ordered quickly and conveniently. Today, WOMAG stocks the largest variety of natural stone and porcelain tiles and tops for kitchens and bathrooms in South Africa. The company stocks leading global brands including internationally acclaimed DECA basins, Tocati taps by Armando Vicario and Bellini sanitary ware.

Sachs’s incomparable expertise and breadth of experience is evident in the quality of each and every stone in WOMAG’s showrooms, and his passion and dedication in the fact that he and his team still personally do the sourcing themselves. “Quality is our top priority,” says Sachs.

WOMAG ensures the best quality and price by manufacturing, designing, distributing and installing its own products. “At WOMAG you will find true craftsmen striving for perfection,” says Sachs. “We are completely obsessed with quality, so we control the whole process.”

The WOMAG factory is equipped with the best machinery available, enabling them to craft the finest stone into perfect tiles, customized countertops and bespoke crafted pieces. “We are also one of the very few suppliers that offers slabs and tiles, not to mention that we competitively offer porcelain and natural stone,” adds Sachs.

Throughout the past 25 years, WOMAG has maintained its position as an innovator and trendsetter in its field. Not only was WOMAG instrumental in spearheading the popularity of travertine, quartz-based surfaces and the three-metre tile, but was also one of the first to introduce wood look and ink jet tiles to South Africa.

To celebrate 25 years of excellence, WOMAG is offering 25% or more off on the majority of tiles, taps and sanitary ware at all its showrooms between March and May 2017. There is a fantastic selection of top quality natural stone and porcelain tiles in an array of colours and patterns. Some things never change.
